Ammonia (NH₃) is a colorless, highly pungent, toxic and corrosive specialty gas with strong alkaline properties and excellent water solubility. Physical and Chemical Properties

Ammonia is an easily liquefied toxic corrosive gas, extremely soluble in water, soluble in ethanol and other organic solvents. It has obvious alkalinity, easy to react with various acids to form ammonium salts. It has certain flammability, easy to form explosive mixture with air. It has strong irritation to human eyes, skin and respiratory tract, and strict protective measures must be taken during operation.
